Terms of use

AutoVault is a personal, self-hosted tool for organizing vehicle maintenance records and evidence.

Personal recordkeeping

AutoVault helps the user preserve and organize information. It does not provide mechanical, legal, insurance, tax, or warranty advice, and it does not guarantee that a manufacturer or other party will accept a record.

User responsibility

The user is responsible for the accuracy of entered maintenance details, the legality of uploaded content, home-server security, Google Account security, and periodically checking backup and integrity status.

Availability

The software is provided as-is for personal use. Availability depends on the user’s home server, network, Tailscale connection, and Google Drive service.

Privacy

Use of Google user data is governed by the AutoVault privacy policy.
